Khalbali (The Chaos)
A Psychological Thriller
Khalbali is a self-contained limited series set within Vancouver’s South Asian community.
The story follows a popular Bollywood dance academy instructor from Bombay nearing the end of his work visa who anonymously intervenes in a murder plot, only to find himself methodically tracked, manipulated, and framed for a crime he didn’t commit, with an ongoing extortion racket used as cover.
Blending diaspora identity, immigration pressure, and psychological suspense, Khalbali explores how quickly reputation can be destroyed and how difficult it is to reclaim.
The script is complete and production-ready. Noor is now building creative and production partnerships to bring it to the screen, made in Vancouver with the flexibility to adapt to other multicultural diaspora communities and designed for OTT audiences.
