From Byculla’s badmaashi and mischievous Mazagaon school days to community street plays, Bori Bunder–Borivali locals, vada paav and cutting chai… from surviving multiple gunpoint robberies in New York to performing on stage and creating for Vancouver screens, Noor Vasaya carries Bombay in his bloodstream and survivor-driven storytelling in his soul.
By day, he is an AV-IT professional in Higher Education and founder of a technology installation business. By night, he is an actor, lyricist, and screenwriter. A stage performer who began in Bombay and evolved in New York, he wrote, directed, and starred in multilingual community theatre productions, earning a reputation for his uncanny Charlie Chaplin impersonations.
Today, he channels that passion into globally relevant storytelling. His thrillers UnExtorted and Khalbali (The Chaos) blend diaspora identity, crime, and psychological suspense for modern OTT audiences. His stories explore immigration, loyalty, power, and the quiet courage of ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances.
Musically, his journey spans devotion to romance. His Sufi track Naad-e-Ali, composed by Salim–Sulaiman for the Bhoomi 2021 album, has crossed 6.3M+ views on YouTube and continues to stream worldwide. His independent single Kahoon Main Agar marks his shift from spiritual expression to heartfelt Bollywood confession.
